Date: Saturday: March 28, 2026Time: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for ages 6-10, 12:30-1:30 p.m. for ages 10-14Location: Rockwood park & MuseumSilhouette portraiture was popular and inexpensive form of self-representation for much of American history. This workshop focuses on the artistic basics of silhouette artworks: Copying, outlining and cutting detailed cut-paper portraits from 11:30-12:30 p.m. Advanced students will also be exposed to the historic methods of making silhouettes from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Come early, later or stay for a full two hours! Free museum entry with each workshop reservation and all supplies included.
