Our core kids art program allows students to become well-rounded artists by shuffling projects across a variety of media and subject matter. One River School’s innovative curriculum inspired by contemporary artists stimulates their imagination and helps them develop essential skills in a fun classroom environment. Students will do a variety of projects while learning about different artists. Each week’s curriculum is pre-planned and projects might include: creating a glowing figurative portrait while learning about contrast, color and how to convey light, designing and drawing a picture of your own vending machine, discovering watercolors to tell a short story of a critter evolving and changing, and creating cartoon character drawings – just to name a few!
Intended for Ages 13-17
