INSTRUCTOR: Emily Blomquist LOCATION: LOWER SCHOOL ART ROOM PICK UP IS IN THE CLASSROOM 7 WEEKS Calling all girls who love to create, sew, and design! In this community school program, each girl will start with a blank 17" cloth doll form and bring her to life with personality, style, and flair. Throughout the classes, the girls will: Design their doll’s face (adding charm and character), create a custom hairstyle (from sweet braids to stylish looks), hand-sew outfits (everyday wear to runway-ready fashion), craft adorable accessories (tiny purses, little headbands and hairbows, & cute necklaces), stitch mini stuffed pets (perfect companions for their dolls), and add unique touches with trims and precious embellishments. From the first stitch to the final accessory, girls will grow sewing skills, explore creativity, and have so much fun designing a doll that’s truly their own.
