INSTRUCTOR: Ms. Mambrini LOCATION: LOWER SCHOOL FIELD TURF (behind main admin office) PICK UP IS AT the lower school field turf (behind main admin office) 6 WEEKS (no class April 13) This class builds on early cheer exposure and focuses on more specialized skill development for students in 3rd–5th grade as they prepare for middle school cheer opportunities. Students develop foundational and intermediate cheerleading skills while enjoying a fun, energetic, and supportive environment where they feel challenged, motivated, and excited to learn. Training includes:• Cheer motions (high V, low V, T, broken T, diagonals)• Pom technique and performance quality• Arm placement precision and sharpness• Rhythm, counts, and musicality• Cheer jumps (toe touch, tuck jump, pike jump)• Intro to age-appropriate stunt fundamentals and partner awareness• Beginner pyramid concepts (with strong safety focus)• Sideline cheer structure and chants• Intro to formations and transitions• Confidence, projection, and performance skills• Conditioning for strength, coordination, and flexibility. Outdoor training enhances movement, teamwork, and performance energy while reflecting real cheer environments such as fields and school events. This program helps students enter middle school cheer with stronger technique, confidence, excitement, and readiness for team participation.
