INSTRUCTOR: Emily Blomquist LOCATION: LOWER SCHOOL ART ROOM PICK UP IS IN THE CLASSROOM 6 WEEKS Calling all girls who love creating, crafting, and bringing beautiful materials together! In this community school program, girls will explore the world of Fiber Arts, using fabric, thread, and texture to design unique, hands-on creations. From stitching to assembling, each project encourages creativity and personal style. Throughout the session, participants will: Customize small tote bags with colorful fabrics, trims, and fun patches, Create playful pom pom ornaments and decorative accents, Design embroidery hoop mixed media art using fabric, thread, and embellishments, Explore stitching, layering, and creative techniques to bring their ideas to life. Each class is filled with creativity, hands-on crafting, and self-expression, giving girls the opportunity to experiment with materials while building confidence, fine motor skills, and a love for fiber-based design.
