INSTRUCTOR: Ms. Molly LOCATION: LOWER SCHOOL DANCE ROOM PICK UP IS IN THE CLASSROOM 7 WEEKS Yoga - Molly teaches a safe, fun and alignment-based yoga class. Students will learn exactly what yoga is, the benefits of a yoga practice and be encouraged to ask questions and explore their own practice. Kids will learn poses or asanas from the ground up and leave each week with a solid foundation of pranayama (breath work). At the end of the semester each student will acquire more flexibility and confidence that they may bring into other activities and sports. Molly teaches the importance of a clean space and a focused practice, though sometimes accompanied by kid-friendly music. A solid meditation practice (seated and walking) and an understanding of yoga props will be taught as well. Proper attire and a yoga mat is required. Yoga is for everyone!
