About This Activity
We will learn the basics of a sewing machine, how to pin and cut out a pattern, how to pin it together, what the different symbols mean, how to read a pattern, stitch length, width and tension, we will end up with a pillow by the end. *Please bring to class: ¾ yard main color fabric, ½ yard each of two matching color fabrics, matching thread, a sewing machine (in good working order) fabric scissors, pins & pincushion, one 18” x 18” pillow form.*
