About This Activity
Students will explore the fascinating world of optical illusions, where art tricks the eye and nothing is quite what it seems. Using lines, shapes, patterns, and color, we'll create artwork that appears to move, pop off the page, or shift depending on how you look at it. Throughout the week, students will experiment with contract, repetition, and perspective in fun and accessible ways, building confidence while creating bold, eye-catching designs. By the end, they'll have a collection of mind-bending artwork that makes people stop and say, "Wait... how did you do that?"
