Pack your passports—our artists are setting off on a hands-on art adventure across continents! In this creative celebration of global traditions, students will paint, sculpt, weave, and build their way through 10 cultures in 10 days. From the flying colors of Japanese Koinobori to the intricate detail of Tibetan mandalas, each project brings a culture to life through storytelling, symbolism, and exciting new materials. They'll roll paper beads like Ugandan artisans, build Brazilian Carnival masks from paper mâché, and light up stories with Thai shadow puppets! Music from each region sets the mood, adding rhythm to every brushstroke and beat to every puppet dance. The session ends with a Cultural Gallery Walk where students proudly present their creations in a colorful celebration of culture, creativity, and connection.
