About This Activity
Join MOSS for a deep dive into wilderness skills and reading the landscape. Through field trips, hands-on science, and outdoor exploration, students will gain confidence in outdoor skills including observation, trail safety and identifying plant and animal signs. What is the fire triangle? What species might we share the trail with? What do people and animals need to survive the elements? Answer these questions and more throughout the 8-week session. Students will get a chance to present their newfound knowledge at a family project presentation at the end of the program.
