We learn how to set the table for a three-course meal (soup, salad or pasta, a main course and dessert and how to use the appropriate cutlery. We focus on how to dress for and behave appropriately at different occasions both informal and formal. The emphasis is on mindfulness, posture, poise and greeting with a firm handshake, a genuine smile and good eye-contact. We learn introductions, conversations and voice level, when and how to leave a party or group, and how and why to write thank you notes. We discuss and do skits as we learn the appropriate use of the internet, emails and screen usage as well as cell phone use and behavior in public areas. Business casual dress required (No jeans or tennis shoes) No food is served in this class.
