Super Sitters: Red Cross Babysitting Training & more - Camp Leader - Samantha Heath - July 28 - August 1 - 9 am - 2 pm - Rising 6th, 7th, 8th, & 9th Graders, Ages 11-15 - $390 (includes lunch and $45 Red Cross fee) - Open to girls and boys - The Red Cross requires campers to be between the ages of 11 and 15 on the first day of camp - Learn how to provide safe and fun childcare - Mrs. Heath will guide campers through a Red Cross online certification program that includes lessons in basic first aid, decision-making, and working with children and their parents - Spend time with friends developing crafts, games, recipes, and techniques to engage children in enjoyable activities - Supplement the online training with hands-on babysitting practice at younger Summit Summer camps - Create and stock supplies for a "babysitting bag" and develop a thoughtful plan for the next steps in starting a babysitting career - Practice solutions for challenging babysitting scenarios - This camp is offered twice this summer. Please only register for one week.
