Adventures in Bookland • Camp Leaders: Jo Frankel & Julie Giljames • June 8-12 • 9am - 2pm • Rising 3rd–5th Graders • $390 (lunch included) • Description: - Dive deep into the power of storytelling inspired by Summit’s after-school book club, Bookworms Adventures in Bookland. - Explore new genres and honor favorite characters through interactive discussions and games. - Deepen your understanding of character, setting, and plot through creative storytelling projects. - Help select and publicize the official book list for the 2026-2027 school year. - Participate in a high-stakes bracketed tournament to vote for the best stories. - Express your literary passion through book-themed art and creative projects. - Advocate for your favorite titles to influence the future of the Bookworms club. - Join a community of avid readers ready to step outside their comfort zone and share great books. - This camp is open to students from any school. Participation in Bookworms club is not required.
