Yes, Chef! 2nd, 3rd & 4th Graders, Mondays, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. $200 Regular $180 Reduced for students enrolled in Summit Afterschool during this class March 18, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13 No class Mar 25 Led by Summit School Sous Chef Jenny Kissinger. Learn the basics of cooking, including mixing, measuring, stirring, basic cooking terminology, and a safe introduction to knife skills. Learn how to work in small groups and problem-solve while having fun and making delicious, kid-friendly, recipes. Students will need to arrive ready to listen, learn, and have fun. They will need to wear closed-toe shoes and put their hair up if needed. All equipment and ingredients will be provided for each class. The menu will include some of the same recipes from the fall class. Allergies should be listed during registration, so the class menus can be planned appropriately.
