The Great Summer Cook-off - Camp Leader - Syd Gortman & Justin Wilson, Chef Manager at Summit School - July 7-11 - 9 am - 2 pm - Rising 7th, 8th, & 9th Graders - $350 (lunch included) - Develop skills and knowledge in cooking, including the safe and proper use of kitchen equipment, proper terminology, measurements, and time management. - This summer will focus on authentic Mexican cuisine, including homemade tortillas. - Enhance teamwork and problem-solving. - Suitable for beginners or those with limited previous experience. - The class will culminate in a competition on Friday. Campers will be divided into teams to compete in a "Cutthroat Kitchen” style competition with local “celebrity” judges and prizes. Parents are welcome to attend.
