About This Activity
Description
The primary goal of this program is to help children and their parents develop a comfortable attitude about swimming in a safe environment. Please note: this program will not teach children to become skilled swimmers, however, the focus will be on promoting water safety knowledge and practices, aquatic adjustment and swimming readiness skills, as well as fun and enjoyment in the water. Adult or parent accompaniment in the water is REQUIRED for the Parent/Child program and is OPTIONAL for the preschool program. Each lesson is 30 minutes in length. Missed lessons can not be made up. A certificate is awarded to the participants at the completion of the class.
A late fee of $5.00 will be applied when registering on the Friday before each new session begins.
