About This Activity
In Level 2, we’ll start by reviewing basic angler safety and skills, the types of fish that swim in Flanders’ waterbodies, and knots. You’ll learn how to use different types of rods, learn fishing styles like fly fishing, and build your own lures! Go into depth with fish biology, how to handle different fish species after catching them and explore whether we can fish stream at Flanders! Level 2 will be made accessible for beginners and will include differentiated activities. Experienced instructors and special guest experts will visit camp to guide youth to become well-informed and educated anglers.
