About This Activity
Kids Musical Theatre at St. Mel (Friday) Experience: All experience levels are encouraged to enroll! Rehearsals: 2nd-5th Graders: Performers will rehearse every Friday from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm (An extra 30 minutes may be added for select roles each week). Auditions & Casting: Each performer who enrolls will perform in TWO casts. One cast will be their primary role (featured role) and an ensemble role (dancing and singing in major group numbers). Some younger performers will be cast in age-appropriate featured roles that they will perform twice. Program Duration: Fall Production: October - Early March Session Capacity Waitlist registrations will open if we hit capacity. Performance Weekend(s) and Casting All performances will take place during the weekend of March 5th-7th, 2027. Dress Rehearsals will be March 1st-4th (Must be available). Your performer will perform in a minimum of two performances. We do our best to accommodate pre-noted religious and school activities with Dress/Show days. We can not accommodate any other special requests on dress/show days. These conflicts must be included in this registration form. This will allow our directors and casting team more flexibility to cast each kid exactly where they want them to be. Siblings will be cast in the same cast(s). Casting friends is not a guarantee. What Happens In Rehearsals? Kids will work in an interactive and creative environment where they will be taught singing, dancing, acting, and choreography specific to the musical being rehearsed.
