About This Activity
Teen Musical Theatre (Tuesday) Live and in person! Experience: None Needed Rehearsals: 9th grade and above: Performers will rehearse every Tuesday (4-8pm). Auditions & Casting: Each performer will be cast in a minimum of one role. Program Duration: 4 months What Happens In Rehearsals? The teens will work in an interactive and creative environment where they will be taught singing, dancing, acting, and choreography specific to the musical being rehearsed. There will be a deeper dive into character study, tougher choreography and dancing will be included. Who Teaches The Kids? Our program is ran by our Creative Director, Jessica Lauren, (MFA Acting, New School University) and Ally Mulholland (AMDA) and supported by a number of assistant directors who are skilled at various aspects of theatre and child development. Safety and More: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have adapted our entire program to fit the safety needs of the community. Our board of directors has approved our use of in person rehearsals and each family and will need to sign our Covid waiver & abide by the strict rules we will put in place for LIVE rehearsals.
