McHenry County Conservation District is using regenerative grazing by bison to restore and manage soil health and wildlife habitat in prairie and savanna ecosystems at Pleasant Valley Conservation Area. The District's Working Lands Ecologist, along with a special guest, will talk about how the bison are perfectly suited to create the right structure and conditions that allows these ecosystems to flourish. Virtual meeting details will be sent to registrants ahead of the program.
Individuals on the roaster will receive an email with a link to join the morning of the program.
