REGISTRATION FOR WOOSTER PLAYERS
Player is required to be enrolled in a Wooster School
PRACTICES/GAMES:
Practices with the team coach take place up to two times a week and may begin the week of 8/18 through the week of 10/18. You will be notified of the practices by the assigned coach once teams are formed.
Games take place Saturdays, September 13 - October 18 as scheduled between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00pm. Games will take place at the Wooster Soccer Complex.
COACHES:
Parent Volunteer coaches are needed for this program. Any candidate for coaching must successfully pass a background check and be available to coach two nights a week and coach games on Saturdays. We are able to work around some requests for game times when the schedule is completed. Any interested individuals can include their names and contact information in the registration process. And can contact the Recreation Coordinator in charge of youth soccer.
REQUESTS:
If you would like to make a special request (coach preference, teammates, etc.) please do so when completing this registration. Requests will be used to form teams.
JERSEYS:
Jerseys are new as of Fall 2023. It is not required to purchase a new jersey, but you can purchase one if you would like to match other players who purchased a new jersey last Fall, if your new to soccer, or if an old jersey no longer fits. We are planning to use this new style of jersey for the next few years.
Registration Deadline- August 10 or until full
Child being registered must be in enrolled in 3rd & 4th grade during the 2025/2026 School Year.
Please note that if you have not completed and turned in a Youth Participation waiver for your child within the last year, you will need to do so before the program starts.
Participation waivers can be accessed by opening the following link in a new window www.woosteroh.com/recreation and scrolling down to the participation waivers section to fill out and submit the waiver online.
The form is valid for one year from the date it is signed and can be used for multiple programs offered through the Wooster Recreation and Community Center.
Lindsay's Law NOTICE - No child will be placed on a roster for ANY sports offered by the Wooster Recreation and Community Center until a form is on file with our department.
