Monsters and Myths Rising Grades 3-5 Instructor: David Rickert Monday – Thursday, June 29 – July 2 1:00pm – 4:00pm Location: Master Classroom, Main Level Step into the world of myths and legends as you design and bring to life your very own original monster! Through sketching, inking, and bold coloring techniques, you’ll develop your monster’s unique features. You’ll also dive into storytelling by creating a myth for your creature—Where does it live? What powers does it have? Is it a hero, a trickster, or a terrifying villain? With a focus on mythical monsters this class blends illustration, storytelling, and creativity in a fun environment. By the end of the week, you’ll have a fully illustrated monster and a mini comic or creature profile to showcase its legend! FEE: $150
