F&M College Rowing is offering local high school students an opportunity to learn the sport of rowing. Participants will be able to learn the basics of the sport over the period of 6 days (Monday thru Friday) from 5-7pm and Saturday from 9-11am), including how to carry and handle equipment and taking strokes up and down Lake Clarke, while also learning about teamwork and leadership. The class is open to those interested in learning to row, as well as learning to cox. The coxswain is the person who oversees the the rowers, with safety being the top priority and then effectively running a practice. The learn to row will be run by F&M Rowing's assistant coach, Joe Madrid, along with other members of the collegiate rowing program, as the team's boathouse facility on Lake Clarke. The address is 515 Boathouse Rd, Wrightsville, PA. It is recommended to take the entrance that has a "Lake Clarke Marina" sign when entering the marina.
