About This Activity
This year Hadracha is a London residential camp from 23-27 October. The course covers a wide range of leadership topics from child development and group dynamics to holistic learning and informal education. This pedagogical learning incorporates education on our core ideologies of Liberal Judaism, Reform Zionism, Tikkun Olam and Youth Empowerment. The course will also equip you with practical leadership skills, such as session writing, song leading, public speaking and improvisation, that are useful for life outside of LJY-Netzer. You must have been on a Hadracha Seminar to lead on LJY-Netzer events. Who is Hadracha for? Hadracha is for anyone ages 16-18 (galimot) and we encourage as many people to come as possible. Why should I lead? Hadracha is a great chance for personal growth and way to give back to your youth movement. You will also gain lifelong leadership skills in positions of responsibility and get the chance to work within a team. This gives you valuable experiences that look great on your CV and on UCAS applications! In your community While Hadracha is great for leaders on camp, this course is also perfect for young people interested in teaching at cheders, who may not be involved with LJY-Netzer. The course will develop your skills in planning engaging, fun, and educational lessons and connecting young people with their Judaism.
