About This Activity
The SAT/ACT Math Prep course will help students review and practice math concepts and learn and reinforce test-taking strategies for the mathematics components of the SAT and ACT and other standardized tests. The course will cover topics from the SAT’s and ACT’s big topics: algebra, advanced math, problem solving and data analysis, mathematical modeling, and geometry and trigonometry. In addition to reviewing and refining their pre-requisite math skills and content knowledge, students will learn how to approach context-based questions, and how to apply their understandings to the different problem styles. The goal is that students will not only fine-tune their math skills, but that they will identify places to keep practicing, and develop strategies to help improve their overall test performance.
