If your camper loves to be around younger children and has shown an interest in babysitting, this is the perfect camp! It’s designed for campers who are craving more responsibility and are ready to begin the transition from camper to camp staff member. Campers can choose to attend for only one week, a few weeks, or join us for the entire summer! They will spend their days working with campers in our Brio Dance camps, practicing their skills and gaining experience. Requirements for Brio CIT: CITs must have attended a Brio Dance Studio Camp previously. CITs must plan to attend the full week of camp. CITs must email Julie prior to the start of camp regarding days they will miss, be picked up early, or arrive late. Please note that we depend on our CITs and communication is very important to make sure we have enough people to help our campers. Any questions can be directed to Julie at briodancestudio@gmail.com. CIT is a great opportunity for campers to build their skills and work toward a future caring for children! Campers must hold a babysitting certification in a nationally recognized babysitting program to serve as a CIT. Certification will need to be documented in order to attend. NEW! If your camper would like to CIT for one of our partner camps they must have previous experience with the specific camp and be pre-approved by the partner camp. Campers interested in Circus CIT opportunities should contact Blain Tully at btully@gmail.com. Contact Mary at mgoodrich@nya.org for more information. CIT Supervisor: Shannon Gallagher, NYA Assistant Camp Director
