Teach your dog to provide comfort to people in hospitals and schools as a therapy dog. Basic skills needed are sit, down, and stay. The class includes intermediate commands such as sit/down stay with duration/distractions, recall, leave it, heeling and getting used to medical equipment. A therapy dog test and optional CGC will be conducted in week 6.- Full vaccine records required.
- Therapy dog test and CGC evaluation given on week 6; $25 fee
- Additional fee for Therapy Dog certifications once test is complete.
