A 6 week course held on Sundays 10:00am - 11:00am Once you have learnt to ride a pedal bike, the next step is to learn and improve on the basic bike skills to become a competent rider. Bike Skills activities focus firstly on bike-handling techniques. The activities help to develop a rider's balance and coordination which is required to progress to more complex activities. Other activities introduce the core cycling tecniques through a variety of fun activities, games and races, allowing riders to feel, practice and perform these techniques. The core cycling techniques included are mounting, dismounting, pedalling, braking and cornering. Group riding techniques are also introduced.
