About This Activity
Learn the basics of pottery in a fun and supportive environment geared toward younger artists! Students will learn various handbuilding pottery skills. Students will work to create and glaze a variety of exciting pieces! Instructors will provide step by step guidance through spoken lessons as well as demonstrations. All materials will be provided. (Total: 10 Classes, 20 hours) IMPORTANT NOTES: - No Class Held 11/17 -Accessing the pottery studio requires use of stairs. - Students may be working on an electric pottery wheel with assistance and guidance from the teaching artist. - An email regarding Pottery Studio expectations and guidelines will be sent out the week before class begins.
