About This Activity
The Youngstown State University soccer team is excited to announce our 7v7 Youth Soccer Tournament. Our purpose is to provide the opportunity for youth players to play in top-notch facilities at YSU as well as cultivate a fun playing environment for the ages of 9-14. There are separate divisions for the girls and boys, single age group divisions, but divisions may be combined depending upon entrants. Open to any and all players regardless of club/team affiliation and only limited by age and number. Field Locations: Indoor Watson and Tressel Training Site (651 Elm St. Youngstown, OH 44555) as the tournament head quarters and outside Farmer's National Bank Field. Game Schedule: Please list any special scheduling request on your online registration form. This is an event that is played inside our Indoor Field without boards. -Sunday, April 3rd games will start at 8:00am and run through till 9:00pm Ages 9-10: Will play 7v7 on a field size of 55x45 in the Watson and Tressel Center. Games will be 40 minutes in length with no half time. Modified rules include sub on the fly, all free kicks are direct, goalie can punt the ball, regular corner kicks and throw-ins and no offsides. One Youngstown State University soccer player or staff as a ref. Ages 11-12: Will play 7v7 on a field size of 55x45 in the Watson and Tressel Center. Games will be 40 minutes in length with no half time.
