Description
Learn-to-Swim Level 2 course focuses on Fundamental Aquatic Skills. It builds upon Level 1 basics to help children gain independence and comfort in the water without instructor support. Students learn to safely jump into the water, front and back glides, treading water, rhythmic breathing, and basic survival floats.* If a participant is receiving scholarship dollars and fails to attend at least 50% of the classes without notifying Aquatics Staff, the participant will not be eligible for future scholarship funding. * In the event of inclement weather such as thunder and lightning, swim lessons will be cancelled. If it is raining hard and visibility in the bottom of the pool is obstructed, swim lessons will be cancelled. The City does not offer makeup lessons or refunds for programs cancelled due to weather events.
