About This Activity
Description
Collage is an accessible and underrated medium that appears in many facets of life including design, fine art, film, and music, and has been part of the creative practices of countless celebrated artists from Andy Warhol to Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Eric Carle! In this workshop, students will explore various methods of image making through collage, combining processes, mixed media, and juxtaposing found and original imagery to create unique pieces of art. The history of collage will be discussed and a variety of techniques will be covered in this workshop. No experience necessary but always welcome!
Supplies are included but students are encouraged to bring some of their own collage materials.
