Grades: 1st-8th & an Adult. Create a box of cookies almost too cute to eat! In this hands-on decorating class, you’ll learn how to turn simple sugar cookies into charming spring treats featuring buzzing bees, honeycombs, a teddy bear, and cheerful flowers. We’ll walk step-by-step through royal icing basics, including outlining, flooding, layering colors, and adding small details like drips, lettering, and decorative accents.
Perfect for beginners, this class focuses on easy techniques you can recreate at home — no experience required. By the end of class, you’ll head home with a full set of beautifully decorated cookies and the confidence to keep decorating on your own.
All cookies, icing, and tools are provided. Just bring your creativity (and maybe a sweet tooth)!
Workshop will include: 6 cookies to decorate, Box/packaging to transport cookies, Use of any tools needed for decorating (piping tips, Toothpicks, decorating stick, glitter, etc). If the adult would like to decorate their own set of 6 cookies, please sign up as an additional person. Instructor: Tabitha Stapleton from Sugar Shack Bakery. 1 class.
