Grades: 1st-8th & an Adult. Dive into decorating with this bright and cheerful ocean-themed cookie class! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll decorate an adorable set of sea creatures including a fish, turtle, crab, seahorse, starfish, and octopus. Step-by-step instruction will guide you through royal icing basics like outlining, flooding, layering colors, and creating simple raised details and textures.
Designed with beginners in mind, you’ll learn piping control, how to achieve smooth finishes, and easy decorative techniques you can recreate at home. The class moves at a relaxed, supportive pace, making it perfect for anyone who wants to try cookie decorating for the first time — or just enjoy a creative night out.
All cookies, icing, and decorating tools are provided. You’ll leave with a full set of colorful cookies and the confidence to keep decorating long after class ends!
Workshop will include: 6 cookies to decorate, Box/packaging to transport cookies, Use of any tools needed for decorating (piping tips, Toothpicks, decorating stick, glitter, etc). If the adult would like to decorate their own set of 6 cookies, please sign up as an additional person. Instructor: Tabitha Stapleton from Sugar Shack Bakery. 1 class.
