About This Activity
Description
Grades: K-5th. Let's get outdoors and connect with nature through the garden! Enjoy hands-on and inquiry-based activities with plenty of time for exploration and creativity. Examine the living soil, seeds, parts of a plant, and pollination, as well as learn how to grow your own food. During the final class session, celebrate our garden by preparing and eating a salad that we have grown ourselves! Each week, students will meet in the art room first, and Ms. Sopoci will then lead them to the garden. During inclement weather, class will be held inside. Instructor: Jennifer Sopoci. 6 classes.
