About This Activity
Description
Grades: 1st-6th & an adult. Do you know a child who wants to learn to sew? Are you looking for a fun class to take with them? Come take an adult-child sewing class, where you and a child in your life can learn the basics of working with sewing machines, patterns, fabric, and more! No experience needed! Projects include a drawstring bag and pajama pants. The adult and child will share a sewing machine and workspace during class, taking turns "teaching" and reminding each other of safety and steps. Sewing machines and basic supplies will be provided. Materials list will be provided at the first class session. Instructor: Elise Blaauw. 6 classes. No class 2/15.
