Participants must enroll and pass the Lifeguard Pre-Course Skills Check at least two weeks prior to start of class. Prerequisite skills includes a 200-yard swim, two-minute water tread, and an object retrieval. After enrolling please email Liz at rplusk20@aacounty.org to set up a time to test your skills.
This is a blended learning class, meaning participants must complete an online training portion and provide proof of completion of the course prior to the first day of the in-person training. More information about completing the blended online class section will be sent to the email address provided during registration, approximately 10 days before the first in-person class date.
Participants must be 15 years old and pass a pre-skills test of a 300-yard swim, tread water for two minutes, and object retrieval.
Successful participants will receive a 2-year Red Cross Certification in Lifeguarding with deep water, CPR, First Aid, and AED.
100% attendance is required.
Friday 4pm-9:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am-3pm.
