Our preschool 2 swim lessons will teach students basic swimming skills building off what they learned in the previous levels. Now that swimmers are comfortable with their face being in the water and the body position for floating, they will start adding to these skills by adding movement and trying for independence where possible with the goal being to start swimming on their own. Adults are not permitted to accompany children in the water. These are group classes with a ratio of 1 instructor for up to 4 students.
Level 2 participants will learn how to: - bobs - Float independently on front and back - Gliding with kicks on front and back - Freestyle and Backstroke with assistance
NO LATER THAN 5 business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds issued after class has started. All refunds are subject to a $7 service charge per activity unless class/activity is cancelled by the City of Antioch Recreation Department. Refunds take up to 3-6 weeks to receive in the mail. No refunds for non-attendance, one day workshops/classes or materials fees.
