Preschool Level 1
Ages 3-5
Geared towards our younger swimmers! Our preschool swim lessons are designed to instill fundamental swimming skills, starting from the basics with learning how to blow bubbles and put their face in the water and float with support. Throughout the lessons, children will gain water comfort as well as water safety while having fun. Adults are not permitted to accompany children in the water. These are group classes with a ratio of 1 instructor for up to 4 students.Level 1 participants will learn how to:
- Enter/exit water safely and independently
- Blow bubbles
- Work on floating on both their front and back.
- Glides with their face in the water.
NO LATER THAN 5 business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds issued after class has started. All refunds are subject to a $7 service charge per activity unless class/activity is cancelled by the City of Antioch Recreation Department. Refunds take up to 3-6 weeks to receive in the mail. No refunds for non-attendance, one day workshops/classes or materials fees.
