Preschool Level 3
Ages 3-5
Preschool 3 swim lessons will be where swimmers learn how to breath to the side for freestyle and work on swimming longer distances. They will also learn new strokes and skills for water safety. Along with learning new skills their instructor will also use previously learned skills as warm-ups and general practice to maintain and improve learned skills. Adults are not permitted to accompany children in the water. These are group classes with a ratio of 1 instructor for up to 4 students.Level 3 participants will learn how to:
- Freestyle with side breathing
- Backstroke
- Elementary backstroke kick
- Scissor kick with a kickboard for support
NO LATER THAN 5 business days prior to the first day of class. No refunds issued after class has started. All refunds are subject to a $7 service charge per activity unless class/activity is cancelled by the City of Antioch Recreation Department. Refunds take up to 3-6 weeks to receive in the mail. No refunds for non-attendance, one day workshops/classes or materials fees.
