About This Activity
Description
Big Drama. Big Laughs. Big Confidence.
Welcome to a forest where fairies meddle, friends get confused, and someone may or may not turn into a donkey. (They do!) In this one-week drama camp, students perform a wildly funny version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, packed with magical mix-ups, dramatic triangles, and ridiculous characters. With mischievous fairies like Puke stirring the chaos, kids embrace comedy, creativity, and big character choices- while rehearsing all week for a live performance that's equal parts Shakespeare and silliness. No experience necessary- just imagination and a sense of fun!
Taught by playwright- Brendan P. Kelso, author of 40+ published stage adaptations with 20 years of experience running youth drama camps- whose motto is "the best way to learn is to have fun."
