About This Activity
In this hands-on enrichment, students will explore a wide variety of artistic techniques while expressing their creativity through different media. Students will begin by planning a painting through sketching and creating a “sloppy copy,” then move on to painting their own acrylic canvas. Throughout the session, students will also create a clay project, design a mixed-media collage, make a jewelry piece, experiment with gel print painting, and explore additional art projects along the way. This class encourages imagination, creativity, and confidence while allowing students to experiment with a range of materials and artistic styles. Instructor: Ann Peden
