About This Activity
Students will explore the art of storytelling through this hands-on creative writing enrichment led by Athens Academy senior Riley Harding. This enrichment is part of her Capstone Project for the upper school. Each session will provide opportunities to spark ideas, build confidence, and practice essential writing skills in a supportive environment. Participants will learn how to generate story ideas, develop characters, settings, and plots, and experiment with different narrative voices. Students will also share their writing, receive constructive feedback, and strengthen their revision skills as they grow as writers. By the end of the program, each student will have completed and polished an original short story to showcase their creativity.
