Little Dribblers Basketball Little Dribblers Basketball is a multi-age introduction to basketball for K4 and Pre-First students. Through weekly practices and Saturday games, participants will learn fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the basic rules of the game in a fun, age-appropriate environment. K4 Division K4 participants will practice on Fridays and play games on Saturdays. Games will be played on six-foot goals and will focus on learning the fundamentals of basketball. This division is non-competitive, with no referees or scorekeeping. Games are designed to give players the experience of playing against another team while continuing to learn and build confidence. Pre-First Division Pre-First participants will also practice on Fridays and play games on Saturdays. Games will be played on six-foot goals using size 4 basketballs. While these games will be slightly more competitive than the K4 games, they will remain self-officiated and focused on introducing players to the game in a positive, developmental setting. Saturday games will be held at Athens Academy’s Spartan Center and Bethlehem Christian Academy. Families should expect approximately three home games and three away games. The league and game schedule are still being finalized, and additional details will be shared once they are available.
