About This Activity
Description: Designed for students who want to become confident, capable babysitters or mother’s helpers, Ready, Set, Sit! covers everything it takes to care for children responsibly. Campers will learn age-appropriate childcare skills, how to plan and lead engaging activities, communicate effectively with children and adults, and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Students will also have the opportunity to earn American Red Cross Babysitting Basics certification (CPR not included) by completing a required four-hour online course. The certification fee is included in the cost of the camp. This camp is perfect for students looking to build responsibility, confidence, and real-world skills.
