Aquatecture: Floating Buildings & Hydro-Cities Explore the world of floating buildings, hydro-cities, and oceanscrapers! We’ll introduce the Arctic Harvester, hydroponic greenhouses and what it means to be a “water architect”. Using inspiration from Vincent Callebaut’s LILYPAD, a sea-drifting Floating “Ecopolis” and “Oceaniums”, a biomimetic generation of floating, sustainable stadiums, we will explore biomimicry, how we might inhabit the sea and try our hand at designing things that float.
