Explore Architecture! Design & Build Moana’s Wayfinder! Explore ancient Polynesian seafaring architecture inspired by Disney’s Moana! Large double-hulled canoes built for long-distance voyaging across the Pacific Ocean could carry tons of cargo and many people. Using inspiration from ancient boat and building construction, celestial navigation techniques and cultural iconography, we’ll explore Polynesian architecture while we design and build our own sea-worthy shelters, floating pavilions and waʻa-kaulua catamarans.
