Learning to Draw Landscapes with Acrylics In this course, students will receive guided instruction to enhance their drawing skills for arranging a composition before moving into acrylic landscape painting. We will focus on painting techniques as well as color theory. Students will learn how to emphasize the texture of a composition to accurately convey the subject matter. This course is an excellent opportunity for students to further develop their creative interests while learning the basics of color theory and compositional arrangements. Students will learn from their peers and work in an atmosphere that focuses on studio production, creative output, and FUN. This course will yield 4-5 final works of art. June 3rd – June 7th 9:00 AM – 3:00 $575 Grades 4-8 Art enrichment courses are co-educational and designed for students in grades 4 – 8. Students will need to bring a snack, drink, and lunch each day. ### Optional: After Camp Extended Services Available Gilman After School staff provide post-camp childcare from 3pm to 5:30pm. Weather permitting, campers enjoy outdoor play, indoor games, and crafts. Campers must be enrolled in a Gilman Summer camp that ends at 3:00pm to join. Available as a Session Option below to sign up.
