About This Activity
Young Chefs World Cooking and Art Learn the value and fun of cooking and baking while you enjoy the taste of different countries and create a work of art. Come join us this summer as you enjoy the taste of different countries. Learn basic cooking skills, safety, and awareness in the kitchen preparing a variety of fun, healthy, and yummy recipes from around the world. Learn how Science and cooking go hand in hand. Practice basic math while measuring ingredients, reading comprehension as you follow a recipe, team building as you work in groups, and get creative as you build a strong foundation for healthy eating! End the day with a taste of the yummy treats that you cooked and baked, and have fun while you create a work of art. Campers should bring 2 containers with a lid and marked with their name so they can take food samples home, an old t-shirt, a water bottle, and a snack.
