ADVENTURE CAMP- is for days when low tide is present during sailing hours. Enrolled campers will be able to sail when the tide permits but will also be able to participate in other water activities like crabbing, seining, critter catching and kayaking. This program is designed for the camper/sailor who loves the water and wants to be on the water but aren’t necessarily interested in just sailing. Adventure camp includes sailing several different types of boats including; 420s, Hartey 12s, Hobies, and many more personal powered water craft that are subject to availability. The goals of this class are to: ‐ have fun get comfortable being in and around the water in a variety of boats and water activities ‐ Learn about the Shark River and the boats we use on the water ‐ be able to leave the dock or beach and return on a sail boat or kayak - Learn about the crabs and critters in the Shark River, by crabbing, and siening for example
